âShree Manjushree Residential School: a bright journey of knowledge, values, and success. Located in Patarasi Rural Municipalityâ3, Jumla, Shree Manjushree Residential School is moving forward not merely as an institution that provides education, but as a sacred temple of knowledge building a bright future for its students. This school has made an important contribution to the all-round development of its students by embracing education, discipline, values, and moral principles. The school's academic environment, the dedication of its teachers, the capable leadership of the school management, and the continuous support of parents have played a vital role in increasing students' interest in learning, their hard work, and their self-confidence. Alongside their studies, our students have also shown their talents in extracurricular activities, sports, and creative fields, bringing further honor to the school's name. As a result of the students' hard work, the teachers' guidance, and the trust of parents, the academic and other achievements the school has attained are praiseworthy. In particular, the students' success and outstanding performance carry an inspiring message: hard work always leads to success. The success of every student studying at this school is itself the school's greatest achievement and pride. Today's students are tomorrow's capable citizens, the pillars of the nation, and the agents of social change. Therefore, if Shree Manjushree Residential School can move forward by not limiting students to mere textbook knowledge, but also teaching them good values, discipline, responsibility, self-reliance, and human values, its contribution will become even more significant. I extend my heartfelt best wishes that, in the days ahead, by placing even greater emphasis on modern technology-friendly education, quality teaching methods, skilled personnel, an excellent academic environment, and the development of students' talents, Shree Manjushree Residential School will succeed in becoming the finest educational destination in the Patarasi region. Spreading the light of knowledge, showing the path of good values, and inspiring students to reach the summit of successâmay Shree Manjushree Residential School continue moving forward on its journey of progress. Manjushree Primary School may be a small primary school but it is built on a great and noble vision. Here, the children do not only study textbooks, they also learn how to become kind, compassionate, and responsible human beings. As an advisor to this wonderful school, I feel honoured to be part of this meaningful journey. My heartfelt wishes go to every teacher, staff member, student, and parent who shares this noble mission. May the school create a legacy of hope, kindness, and excellence that will be remembered for years to come.

In 2022, Kalsang visited me in Finland, a country known for its education system. He explained that children from his village in Nepal had to leave for Kathmandu or India because there were no adequate schools nearby. I pointed out that this not only meant leaving their families but also becoming separated from the Himalayan culture and way of life, ultimately contributing to depopulation in the region. The dangers they faced on the journey made it all the more alarming. I asked Kalsang whether he had ever thought of establishing a village school. He replied that it had long been his dream, and I encouraged him to pursue it. In 2024 we met again, in Delhi this time. Permission to establish the school had been obtained, and we drafted a preliminary curriculum and timetable. I emphasized the importance of securing the villagers' commitment and keeping the project in local hands to ensure its long-term sustainability. Outsiders could offer advice, but the locals should decide. The school opened later that year. Seeing it flourish brings me immense joy! Om Ah Rapatsana Dhi!
